    Funeral Director & Business Leader

    I have worked for Frederick W. Paine for over 26 years now, since 1996. I started out as a Funeral Service Arranger, before becoming a Funeral Director in 1997 for Frederick W. Paine Kingston & Surbiton and then a Business Manager in 2002.

    Prior to joining the funeral industry, I spent 10 years working for a local newspaper, before leaving for a career helping and caring for people. I have always lived in Kingston and know the area very well. Through my work, I aim to help clients and families through a very difficult time in their lives and with my Funeral Arranger and Funeral Directors, we offer the best possible service to families. I am proud to look after 12 Frederick W. Paine Funeral Homes as the Business Leader and have the most caring and dedicated staff helping all of our bereaved families.

    Funeral Director

    Laura has worked in the funeral industry for over three years following a career in floristry. Laura has a NVQ level 2 in funeral arranging, so has a great wealth of knowledge to help all our client families to arrange and conduct the funeral service they would like for their loved ones making informed choices.

    Laura has become quite active in the communities around her funeral homes in local activities and clubs. She is so proud to be the Funeral Director for Frederick W. Paine in Chessington, East Molesey & Esher. Outside of work, Laura enjoys festivals, music and travelling.

  • We had never had to arrange a funeral before so were a little apprehensive about what we had to do but from the moment we went into the Chessington branch we were put at ease by Sue and Karen. They were very professional but came across as very caring people who listened to our requests and accommodated our wishes, providing guidance and reassurance at all times.

  • Frederick Paine,of Esher provided an excellent service, for Keith, always bearing in mind our loss. Zoe was always easy, sympathetic & very professional in dealing with the loss of our dear friend. Zoe knew Keith as she had arranged the cremation of his wife, some three years ago. The service at Randalls Road crematorium was carried out with extreme care, bearing in mind all the restrictions. Jan Doyle the Celebrant was, as usual, excellent.

  • The service provided was excellent. After all the arrangements had been made by the Esher team unfortunately the office had to be closed due to staff isolating due to Covid. The details were taken over by another office and everything went as planned. FWP kept in contact with me to check and confirm details a few days before the funeral and there were no problems or issues whatsoever on the day. Thank you for providing excellent service in the difficult times we are currently in.
